We've been deliquent in our blog postings lately because we have been trying to capture a video of Luke smiling to share. However, whenever we take out the video camera, our little boy decides to be stern and serious... at least as serious as an infant can be! He now spends a lot of time on his back, kicking his arms and legs, and is a much more content and happy baby in the past few weeks. Luke turns 3 months old this weekend, and we have been busy unpacking from our last vacation and preparing to leave for our next family adventure with the Winterhoffs in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. We have decided to split our trip into a 3-day driving affair so that we don't have to endure more than 5 hours at a time in the car with a screaming baby. We leave tonight and are staying with friends in Roanoke, VA (where we used to live), going as far as Pennsylvania tomorrow, where we will drop off Winnie with her Mimi (my mom) for the week, and then arriving at the beach on Sunday. We will certainly be happy to arrive, and are excited to spend what will surely be a busy and fun week with our family at Rehoboth, with 4 children ages 5 and under in 1 beach house! Bring on vacation!
P.S. Luke's latest weigh-in at the pediatrician's office yesterday: 16 pounds, 2 ounces. Unbelieveable!
