This weekend, Grams and Poppy came to visit, and we loved having them here. Mark and I even went on a date on Saturday night while they baby-sat, which was such a nice treat for us. Luke loved showing off his crawling, and has started trying to pull up to a standing position already! He has also suddenly begun to reject most baby foods, dramatically gagging and tightly closing his mouth when we try to feed him from a baby food jar. This is the same child who was voraciously consuming up to 7 jars of baby food per day just a week ago! Now Luke much prefers table food and enjoyed showing his grandparents how enthusiastic he was to taste this new, grown-up food by loudly declaring, "MMMM!" after each bite. We all had a wonderful weekend visiting and playing with Grams and Poppy, and are going through a bit of withdrawal now that they are gone. Here are a few pictures from their visit:

Look who's a big man, standing!

Big people food is so much better!

Oh, how we miss you, little Luke....you may be little but you fill up a BIG part of our heart! Hope music class was fun! Love, Grams and Poppy
Looks like EVERYONE loved the visit-great pics and stories. Cheryl and Beth both said that their children were the SAME way once they tasted REAL food! Looks a LOT warmer in SC than here-we are expecting 6" of snow-yuk! Love, Gammie and Pop Pop Davies
