Fire Station Party!

Luke's 4th birthday party was held at the fire station on Saturday, and it was amazing! The firemen did such a wonderful job with the children, and Luke was very excited to have so many of his friends come to his party.

Our family at the firehouse:

I loved Luke's cake this year (the woman who made Luke's 1st birthday cake also did this one, and it was absolutely adorable):

The party began with a tour of the station, and Luke "drove" all of his friends to fight a fire:

Sparky, the fire dog, also made an appearance. Here's the birthday boy with his new best friend:

Next, the fire chief demonstrated how to dress in uniform. Somehow Mommy ended up donning this get-up, which everyone found very entertaining!

Cake and singing followed, as we celebrated our special birthday boy:

Of course we had to take a picture of our little firefighters with their hats on:

Luke loved his party, and was thrilled to be the center of attention. Oh, how we love that cute little fireman! Here is a slideshow of more of Luke's fire station party pictures:

That evening, we had one tired little boy, wearing his fire truck pjs, and dreaming sweet birthday dreams:

So adorable, what a good idea! We will have to keep that one in the bank...though not sure the Baltimore city fire dept would be as great with kids! Happy belated birthday, oldest BBBB! I need my BB calendar to keep track of all the birthdays!
