L&L both attended NW Homecoming (HOCO) this year. Often, the Homecoming dance falls on a Saturday when a band competition is scheduled, but this fall, the date was early enough in the school year as to not conflict with competition season. Homecoming proposals are a thing these days, and Luke set up a fun way to ask Kiley to be his date:

Meanwhile, Leah and her three closest friends got ready at our house and had a sleepover here after the dance. It was so sweet to be a part of their first Homecoming experience. We drove them to dinner before dropping them off at HOCO and we got late night ice cream treats afterward. These girls are such awesome teens, and we loved hosting them:
