Easter Happenings

We're preparing for Easter a little early, since Luke's birthday falls so close to Easter Day this year, and we want to spread out all of the fun. This weekend, Luke decorated Easter eggs for the first time, using the traditional PAAS kit that reminds me so much of my childhood (with the colored tablets that dissolve in vinegar/water). I wasn't sure how well Luke would do waiting for each egg to absorb its color (patience is not his strong suit), and if we'd be successful at not spilling anything, but it went very well and Luke had a lot of fun. Here's our big boy in action:

Leah sat on our laps and watched her big brother, and it was a fun family project that put us in an Easter mood. Luke even asked to eat one of the eggs for dinner, declared that he didn't like hard-boiled eggs after tasting a bite, and decided that putting stickers on the them was much more fun!

So adorable Carrie! We also do PAAS over here! It's a tough one this year with Olivia's birthday near Easter as well but Luke's is so close! We actually have our family party for Olivia tomorrow and her first kid party at our home next Saturday for her school mates. That should be interesting:) Tonight is dinner with the Easter bunny! Enjoy all the fun activites with your sweet boy! I still cannot believe he will be 3! Kiss them both for us!!XOXO
